Follow These Tips If Your Bridesmaids Aren’t Getting Along

May 28, 2018

Wedding Tips

Did you know one of the most searched wedding tips is how to get your bridesmaids to get along? When we think of our big day we usually thing of having our closest friends surrounding us with love and support but what do we do when our best friends aren’t best friends with each other? Here are some tips for diffusing the situation before it gets out of hand.

Empower Each Bridesmaid to Plan an Activity

A lot of the hurt feelings come from feeling like they are being left out of the process. Empower your bridesmaids and assign each one an activity to plan. Not only does this allow them to feel included but it can also be an extra bonding experience for everyone in the bridal party.

Assign a Friend or Family Member to Peacemaker Duties

Sometimes having an outside source to help bring perspective to the situation can help and also relieve you of one more thing to deal with. Having someone who is not involved can help be a sounding board and remind all those involved why they are there in the first place – to be united in support and love for you on this special occasion.

Have a one-on-one conversation

If the above to approaches don’t seem to help then it might be best to have a sit down with the friend who is upset. There is usually a deeper issue at play and getting to the bottom of that issue may remedy the overall disruptions.
