There’s been a noticeable shift in weather here at our Texas wedding venue… Spring is surely right around the corner! As February draws to a close, we’re turning our attention toward the Spring wedding season. Brimming with fresh florals, bright event design, and beautiful colors, Spring weddings never fail to impress. Today we’re highlighting a few Spring wedding trends we expect to see come through our whitewashed doors this season:
- More Color: While blush and gold have reigned supreme for years, the wedding industry is finally shifting toward a more colorful palette. Last season, we introduced fall/winter color palettes deeply saturated with moody hues. This spring, however, we expect to see a return to color in a different way: pastel hues. Lavender, dusty sky blue, and feminine pink are guaranteed to be a hit this season.
- Watercolor Influences: What’s not to love about dreamy watercolor paintings? Our brides have been inspired by watercolor influences this season. From pastel and floral-print bridesmaid dresses, to watercolor-inspired invitation suites, this popular trend makes a pretty statement.
- Floral Installations: this year’s brides are thinking outside the box. Floral décor goes far beyond table centerpieces! Get creative with overhead installations, organic wreaths, lush garlands, and more.
- Smaller Bridal Parties: lately, enormous bridal parties have been a popular choice. However, we expect to see fewer bridesmaids and groomsmen on the altar this season. Many couples are narrowing down their bridal party lists to their closest friends and family only, instead of a large group.
Plus, in bridal style… we expect to see more illusion lace, wedding gown separates, and (as mentioned earlier this month) engagement rings with colorful gemstones. Which trends are right for you?
