- If you are musically gifted, write a song professing your love and sing it to your soon-to-be fiancé! It will be a special song and a special way to propose that you will both love. If you’re not the greatest at writing songs, sing their favorite song or your favorite song as a couple to begin the proposal. Even if you don’t write the song, proposing like this will mean so much.
- You can also do it on your favorite holiday! Proposing on New Year’s Eve would give you plenty of photo ops with fireworks! If you’re more of a Halloween couple, plan a couple’s costume that would be amazing to propose in. Maybe you love family time and want your families to be surrounding your engagement? Go for Christmas, Christmas Eve, or Thanksgiving! The holiday will remind you of your engagement each year.
- Last but not least, recreate your first date! You can take little pieces of it or even the full date to do this. Your partner might catch on, but will definitely not spoil it for themselves. Extra props if you do this on your anniversary, or even just near it. This entire date will be able to remind the two of you where you started, and allow you to reflect on where you are now.
