Vegan Food Options at Your Wedding

  • Are you considering having vegan food at your wedding for your vegetarian and vegan friends? There are so many ways to cater to your guests in this way without compromising what food you want at your wedding. It is easy to have vegan options because so many more things are vegan than you would expect!
  • If you think as simple as can be: salads! Have a good salad with nuts, a dairy-free dressing like a vinaigrette, beans, more veggies and sprouts, and maybe even some fruit! For your friends who aren’t vegan, have some cheese to the side that can be sprinkled on. This is a simple way to include people’s food preference without even looking like you’re trying.
  • If you want to do something a little more filling, do something with jackfruit in it! Jackfruit is a fruit that has the same texture as pulled pork and a very mild flavor that takes on any seasoning that is put on it. So if you are doing a buffet situation, just add jackfruit to the mix! This can easily put on a taco in place of meat. It can even be put on top of a salad to finish the salad off.
  • Lastly, don’t forget about a potential vegan dessert option! Just have another cake that is vegan, most bakers do vegan options now! You could also do something different so that people don’t get the two desserts confused. Have vegan cookies or cupcakes so that guests can differentiate which dessert is which and don’t end up with the wrong one.

Catering to all of your guests is as easy as a good, solid salad option in your buffet line or on your RSVP cards for your seated dinner. We’re excited to see your vegan options at our Dallas venue!
