It can be easy to be influenced by the latest trends in the wedding industry. But when you look at your wardrobe what are your go to pieces? Is it edgy or is it more classic? Is your partners style similar or different from your own? If they are different, think about how you can incorporate both styles in to your wedding day.
Couple activities to spur on ideas
Another way to find out your true style is look at the activities you and your partner like to do on the weekends. Are you the adventurous type to go hiking outdoors or are you the movie night type? Having a wedding inspired by what you enjoy as a couple is the most authentic way to style your wedding.
Choosing keywords to keep you focused
Once you’ve narrowed down some options, try and come up with two or three key words that describe your style. As you search for inspiration now, keeping those words in mind will help you keep focused on your true style and help you not be as influenced by wedding trends.
