At The White Sparrow, we have the pleasure of seeing countless beautiful floral arrangements come through our DFW area barn venue doors. Pretty flowers make exquisite pops of color against our whitewashed walls. With plenty of natural lighting, it’s the perfect place to showcase florals at their absolute best. Thanks to some incredibly talented florists, our halls are continuously decked with gorgeous blooms. While we loved 2015’s trends, this year’s floral trends are taking form, and we love what we’ve seen so far. From big blooms and luscious greens to rich color palettes, take a look at a few of our favorite floral trends:
Big blooms: our brides are opting for ever-bigger bouquets this year. We’re seeing individually large blooms, combined in oversized bouquets that make impressive statements on the aisle and as décor. Whether it’s big buds tucked into your hair, flower crowns, or grand bouquets, this trend is here to stay.

Organic greens: one way our brides are building big bouquets is by adding luscious greenery to their floral design. Make big blooms even bigger by including lush greenery that lends a more organic feel to your bridal bouquet. We especially love long organic table runners made of eucalyptus, accented by fresh blooms tucked throughout the display. Greenery is a beautiful way to add volume without breaking the bank, and it looks absolutely stunning against pretty white walls.
Deep color tones: this year is pointing toward a shift in color palette. We’ll keep our traditional ivories and creams (and Pantone-inspired pastels!) in the mix, but we also expect to see a return to deep, rich hues when it comes to wedding flowers. Deep jewel tones, dark navy, and rich burgundy are all making a big statement in 2016. Combined with that beautiful greenery, these boughs and bouquets will make dramatic statements on the aisle.
Which floral trends are you loving this season? We’d love to see them at The White Sparrow, so come visit our DFW area barn venue. We look forward to seeing your bridal blooms!
